WE BELIEVE

1.   The Bible to us is the inspired Word of God.

2.   Our Lord is a triune God in the form of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3.   The whole universe seen and unseen, was created by and through God.

4.   Israel was selected and set aside as God’s chosen people through a divine covenant with  Abraham to safeguard the earthly lineage of Jesus.

5.   Jesus was Divinely conceived in the virgin Mary, and is the incarnated Son of God who was given to atone mankind back to our Heavenly Father.

6.   Jesus by virtue of his divine origin, was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of man against the Heavenly Father.

7.   Jesus’ death on the cross made it possible for man to be in direct fellowship with God the Father through the Son.

8.   Jesus died on the cross, rose from the grave on the third day, having taken back all authority in Heaven and on earth from Satan, ascended to His Father in heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father.

9.   As God’s children we are called to prepare ourselves for His promised return.

10. One day He will return and call those who chose to be in an intimate fellowship with Him, up to be with Him for eternity.

11. Jesus died so that anyone who wanted to have a relationship with God could be afforded the opportunity to do so freely.

12. There is ONLY ONE way to be with the Father, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ.

13. Every believer will be asked to give an account for the life that they have lived. This means that we all have a duty to live accountable lives.

14. God expects everyone to mature and bear fruit.

15. He expects us to work at the abilities and opportunities that He places in our lives.

16. He has entrusted us to be stewards of our lives and purpose in service of His Kingship.

17.  We believe that Jesus through His life has given us a consolidated single commandment in Luke 10v27: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.”

18. To love the Lord is expressed by growing ourselves.

19. To love our neighbour is to encourage growth in them and to make disciples of Jesus of them.
